About IBFF

The Indian Blind Football Federation (IBFF), established in 2016, is an independent body dedicated to developing blind football for visually challenged individuals across India. IBFF is affiliated to the Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA), New Delhi, and works under the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI).

Blind Football is a 5-a-side game played by 4 visually challenged players and a sighted goal keeper, using a ball which makes sound. The match is played in turf ground of size 40m X 20m, which has 1m tall side boards along the length on both sides to keep the ball in continuous play. The coach and goal guide, both assist the players from outside the field of play by giving voice commands. Matches are played over two halves of 15 minutes each.

The Indian Blind Football Federation (IBFF), affiliated with the Indian Blind Sports Association, is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 4th Men’s and 3rd Women’s IBFF South-West Zonal Blind Football Championship 2025. The tournament will take place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from 29th to 31st March2025, with the Blind People’s Association (BPA) serving as our local hosting partner.
Only IBFF-affiliated organizations are eligible to apply for participation in this tournament. Teams from the South and West zones can register for the tournament. Only those who have paid the caution deposit before the deadline will be allowed to participate.
