Dr. Rajni Shah hails from the remote village of SASAM near Palanpur in Gujarat which is still deprived of some of the basic amenities. Dr. Rajni and his wife Dr. Jayashree are repaying the debt to the birth place by puffing in maximum efforts for the village development. They conducted an analysis with support from BPA as well as opinion leaders and villagers and identified the priority requirements. They are providing basic services for all-round development of village, including :

  • Toilet construction
  • Renovation of School Building
  • Health care services (especially for women)
  • computer literacy

The Couple is associated with this development activity not remotely, but rigorously. As and when possible, they remain present in Sasam during the activity. BPA keeps in touch with the village locals on their behalf.
