Celebrating the Amrut Mahotsav of Blind People’s Association (India)

4TH MEN’S & 3RD WOMEN’S IBFF SOUTH-WEST ZONAL BLIND FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 28th to 31st March 2025 AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT

The Indian Blind Football Federation (IBFF) successfully organized the 4th Men's and 3rd Women's IBFF South-West Zonal Blind Football Championship 2025 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from 29th to 31st March 2025. The event was hosted in collaboration with the Blind People’s Association (BPA), with Fedora and Bright Foundation as tournament partners. A total of nine teams and over 70 blind football players participated in the championship, showcasing incredible skill and determination.

Get-together of old students and honouring of teachers

As a part of celebrations of Amrut Mahotsav, BPA organized a get together of its old students. 426 students enrolled for this event. To share their joy and happiness and to reflect achievements of BPA, students took out a Rally at 9 a.m. which was flagged out by Mr. F J Porwal and Mr. Praful Vyas, both senior Trustees and lifetime workers of BPA from the campus of BPA. This Rally covered the route from BPA to Panjra Pole and then to University Senate Hall.
